Numeracy Interventionist

Dear Harrison Families,

My name is Mrs. Ramillano, and I am returning as the Numeracy Intervention Math teacher at Harrison. As the Numeracy Interventionist, my role is to support teachers and provide targeted small-group instruction to students who need additional support to meet math standards. Along with my assistant, Mr. Kirby, we will work with your child every day for 30 minutes in a small group, with a focus on foundational numeracy skills.

I am also supporting teachers in monitoring math i-Ready results. i-Ready is the new district-mandated program, which provides lessons in both reading and math. Students can go at their own pace, as teachers can monitor their progress and better inform you of how your child can improve.
